What are Assets and Asset Profiles?

  • Assets are the physical items that a Team tracks by attaching an ItsWare tag and placing in one of their assigned Cabinets.

  • Asset Profiles group the Assets and contain the description for those Assets

A few Tips:

  • Tags not reading? Ensure NFC is turned on for your device

  • Using a device without NFC? Add tags using the QR code

  • Want Custom Names? By default, Asset names are the last three digits of your ItsWare Tag ID + the Asset Profile name. You can customize the asset name by tapping on the item during the tagging process or by editing the asset after saving.

  • Batch Process Items: You can change the Team and Asset Profile for any items during the tagging process, but may find it faster to do batches of items under the same Asset profile
